Let’s get serious, here. Dean Bikes is a renowned brand that (still) crafts hand-built titanium bicycles. Established in 1989 in Boulder, Colorado, they specialize in creating custom titanium frames with meticulous attention to detail and exacting standards. Their frames are designed to exceed riders’ expectations, offering a combination of strength, lightweight construction, and compliance for adventurous journeys. Dean Titanium frames have garnered a cult-like following due to their superior ride quality and artisan craftsmanship.
This fine example of ca 1995 is in mint condition.It has been meticulously compiled by a well repected collecotor. It features a grey! Flite Ti seat, a stronghlight head set and runs on a cool set of ZIPP 440 carbon wheels. A Shimano durace 7400 groupset will take you anywhere. You won't find STI-Shifters thought. This bike is more classical, more pure. The levers are on the downtube. All possible parts and screws have been replaced by titanium stuff: BREW titanium brakes, crank, all chainrings and bottom bracket are from Boone. The SCOTT bar with extended drops is giving that bike a little Greg Lemond twist. The bike is very light and a dream to ride.
